The magnet produces a homogeneous horizontal 1.5 Tesla magnetic field intensity and depicts the body, without using ionizing radiation, at three different levels (transverse, oblique and coronal), while it is an imaging method used without side effects in cases of pregnancy and infancy and examinees of reproductive age.
All classical applications (central nervous system, solid body organs, musculoskeletal system) are performed, as well as magnetic angiography, magnetic mammography, magnetic cholangiography and cardiac function and anatomy study. With its Diffusion and Perfusion techniques, it is indicated for the early diagnosis of strokes and for the accurate detection and calculation of the extent of the brain injury.
