Radiodiagnosis Department

The Radiation Diagnostic Unit has a purely Digital Radiographic System by Philips Healthcare (ESSENTA DR), which has particular use in traumatology and orthopedics. The system's Electronic Flat Panel detector enables the combination of radiation data adjustment and post-processing of the radiographic image, resulting in a high quality diagnostic image with lower absorbed and active dose values. In addition, it has an exam bed that moves freely and can be adapted to the needs of the most difficult person.

The radiodiagnosis department also offers Pure Digital Panoramic System by Instrumentarium (ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH OP30), providing optimal imaging geometry and image quality by integrating V-shaped collimators and high resolution CCD imaging sensor, as well as software tools to enhance diagnostic capacity.
